2022 is fresh and hot off the press. The years pass quick, but days quicker. Living in our fast-paced, stressful, and chaotic world today, our generation is constantly challenged to quickly react to and face new obstacles. The way we do so, and the way we are influenced by them- is why GenZee exists. GenZee is a time-capsule, a documentation of today’s crowd favorites, pet-peeves, and strangely-addicting trends we just can’t seem to get enough of.

Hi, I’m Lindsey! I recently entered my 20th year of life. No longer a teen, but in my head I’d say loud and proud I’ve still got the personality of a 12 year old. I am a student at Cal Poly, embarking on my second year here still weaving through the reality of attending college amidst a pandemic. I find it hard sometimes- living everyday life with no coffee spills or mental breakdowns, but I find it even more interesting and even comforting, knowing that the millions of people out there my age go through the same shenanigans every morning, afternoon, and night.

Today, January 10, 2022, is an average day- or as average as one can get nowadays. That’s why I created GenZee, as a way to grasp some clarity or relate to others when it comes to music, fashion, lifestyle, or even struggles like how in the world you’re supposed to budget your money in college.
